Democratic Rep. Alan Grayson, who is known for lobbing over-the-top rhetorical bombs at his political foes, once again is being accused of taking things too far — after his campaign sent an email that compared the Tea Party to the Ku Klux Klan while depicting a burning cross.
The email showed a large image of the flaming cross, with the letters “ea Party” etched in to the right of it. The caption read: “Now You Know What the ‘T’ Stands For.”

“Everyone that had a ticket I had given a hot dog to,” the 63-year-old owner of Clint’s Hot Dog Cart and Casual Catering told FoxNews.com. “So when two guys, one with a mask, came to get their hot dogs, I didn’t think anything of it because they had tickets and I was just there for a job.”
He described the action that ensued as “violent.” Only minutes after he’d handed the two men their hot dogs, the pair tore down the tent, turned over his serving tables, smashed his hot dogs, tossed a cooler filled with sodas and spilled his chili.
“I kept explaining that I was just here to do a job, that I wasn’t on anybody’s side, but when people started calling me racial slurs, my friend who works at the Capitol told me I had to get out of there, so I crawled out,” said Tarver, who is
Meet Clinton Tarver:
Lorilea Zabadal, a staff member for Republican state Rep. Al Pscholka, set up an online fundraiser at gofundme.com/SupportClint. The goal was to reach $5,000. As of Wednesday afternoon, over $14,000 in donations had been raised.
“I supported Clint. He’s a great guy and a great small business,” Lt. Governor Brian Calley said on Twitter. He also thanked citizens who had supported Tarver financially.
Tarver said that state Sen. Joe Humes and his wife reached out to Tarver on Tuesday night promising to reimburse him for his equipment.
And a spokesperson for Americans for Prosperity said they plan to reimburse Tarver as well.
Tarver said he’s overwhelmed by the support and that he didn’t know he had touched so many people.
“I never knew people cared so much about the hot dog guy — I feel overwhelmed,” Tarver said. “I’m just here to serve.”
Finally an answer as to WHY the Daily Caller went sideways, this morning. Porn Banner Ad as seen below..
“Who’s Calling The Shots?” was the actual red bold headline on a story this morning on The Daily Caller website by Executive Editor David Martosko regarding President Obamaallegedly canceling the killing of Osama Bin Laden.
But a better question might be who’s calling the shots on the publication’s banner ads? See the XXX-rated performance above the story below. The pub’s Twitter feed says they came under a malware attack last night, so that may be one explanation.
We reached out to the publication’s spokeswoman Nicole Roeberg for more on the matter. Roeberg assures us that no, The Daily Caller isn’t planning on regularly running porn on the site. “One of the accounts on our ad server was hacked, and as a result someone was able to place those inappropriate ads on our site,” Roeberg wrote in a formal comment to FishbowlDC by email. “As far as we can tell, the ads were ONLY visible on iPhone and iPad devices, not on computers or Android devices. The problem with the ads has been fixed, and as soon as Google does another crawl of our site, the error message should go away.
The site is perfectly safe to visit now. Obviously, we would never intend to run ads like this on our site.”
UPDATE: Is it really safe? Despite The Daily Caller saying the site is now safe, the warning message still pops up. “What they’re saying is that the problem has been fixed, but Google won’t recognize that until it does another crawl of our site. As soon as that happens, the error message will go away,” Roeberg explained.
Yesterday, Buzzfeed ran an article, “People Who Say They’re Moving To Canada Because Of ObamaCare,” featuring 17 people who claim they are moving to Canada to protest the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision upholding the Affordable Care Act. The snarky subhead: “I’m sure they’ll like the healthcare just fine there.”
Shorter Buzzfeed: Stupid conservatives! So very, very stupid!

Now This Is Funny. Cory Booker, is that Mayor that saved folks from dying a horrible death, in that fire in New Jersey..
CITIZEN JOURNALIST VICTORY: ROSEANNE APOLOGIZES FOR ZIMMERMAN TWEET
This is yet another victory for New Media and the citizen journalists on Twitter who do what the mainstream and entertainment media won’t, and that’s expose and hold accountable public figures who support Barack Obama.

But last month, the founders of Google, Twitter, Wikipedia, Yahoo! and other Internet giants expressed concern over the two drafts, saying in a open letter that they would “give the US government the power to censor the Web using techniques similar to those used by China, Malaysia and Iran.”
