The New Democratic Party Symbol.

The Democrat Party today announced that it is changing its symbol from the donkey to a condom because it more accurately reflects the party’s political stance. A condom allows for inflation, halts production, destroys the next generation, protects a bunch of dicks, and gives you a sense of security while you’re actually being screwed. Darn, it just doesn’t get more accurate than that!

DISENFRANCHISEMENT? MA DEMOCRATS REQUIRE PHOTO ID TO ENTER CONVENTION

If the Democrats actually believe the rhetoric from people like Ben Jealous, then they have disenfranchised scores of potential delegates with this photo ID requirement. If, on the other hand, they instituted the photo ID requirement to ensure the integrity of the votes of the party delegates, they should repudiate the NAACP and work to ensure that their own rules carry through election day.  http://www.breitbart.com/ by MIKE FLYNN

Alinsky Rules: 3. Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty. (This happens all the time. Watch how many organizations under attack are blind-sided by seemingly irrelevant arguments that they are then forced to address.)

8. “Keep the pressure on, with different tactics and actions, and utilize all events of the period for your purpose.”

11. “If you push a negative hard and deep enough, it will break through into its counterside… every positive has its negative.”

13. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.  In conflict tactics there are certain rules that [should be regarded] as universalities. One is that the opposition must be singled out as the target and ‘frozen.’…

“…any target can always say, ‘Why do you center on me when there are others to blame as well?’ When your ‘freeze the target,’ you disregard these [rational but distracting] arguments…. Then, as you zero in and freeze your target and carry out your attack, all the ‘others’ come out of the woodwork very soon. They become visible by their support of the target…’

“One acts decisively only in the conviction that all the angels are on one side and all the devils on the other.”

DEMOCRATS TRY NEW WAR ON WOMEN TACTIC

A batch of new polls released this week confirmed the Democrats‘s worst nightmare: the majority of Americans strongly disapprove of the way in which the President is handling the economy and gas prices. The findings were a blow to a party that for weeks has pandered to women with the trumped-up bogeyman of an all-white male Republican party who wanted to gobble up all their birth control pills.     http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journalism/2012/03/16/DEMOCRATS%20TRY%20NEW%20WAR%20ON%20WOMEN%20TACTIC

Good to know that Progressive Pigs devour each other, similar to the Republican elites in choosing a candidate for President..

Bob Kerrey bid causes left to lash out

via memeorandum

“I hope he gets carpet bombed. The more Republicans spend in Nebraska, the less they’ll have to go after Democratic Senate candidates who actually act like Democrats,” said Markos Moulitsas, the founder of the influential blog Daily Kos. “And if it turns out he needs the help, then too bad. F—- him.”

Debt Panel Still Far From a Deal

AP

Despite new Republican flexibility on revenue increases, debt panel remains far from compromise, as Democratic co-chair Sen. Patty Murray, seen left, says there has yet to be a ‘credible plan’ to create a balanced proposal.

“I have yet to see a real, credible plan that raises revenue in a significant way to bring us to a fair, balanced proposal,” said Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., the co-chair of the 12-member supercommittee. The GOP offer, however, puts the onus on Democrats to come up with a counter-proposal.

Think maybe being a “leader” and having his OWN PLAN could have helped?

The Hill: Obama’s soft response to Tea Party draws liberal criticism

by Justin Emanuel, uhh, Marx, err, Rosenberg, Trotsky, Ruben

“It’s hard to see how we avoid a Tea-Party recession if the president who has the biggest megaphone in the country is not willing to speak clearly on the issue,” Justin Ruben, executive director of MoveOn.org, told The Hill in a Saturday afternoon interview.

Ruben said Obama should never have allowed Tea-Party lawmakers in the House to treat a debt-limit extension as a concession to Democrats given the nation’s entire economy depended on it.

By accepting the threat of a national default as politically valid, Obama put himself at a major disadvantage in the talks, he said.

Notice how The Left Post conveniently LEFT out: Eighty-two Democrats joined Republicans in opposing the increase..

The Washington Post
House rejects proposal to raise debt ceiling

With an August deadline looming, the House overwhelmingly refused Tuesday to raise the legal limit on government borrowing, setting the stage for a long, sweaty summer of haggling over the shape of the largest debt-reduction package in at least two decades.

Not a single GOP lawmaker voted for the measure to raise the limit on the national debt from $14.3 trillion to $16.7 trillion — a sum sufficient to cover the government’s bills through the end of next year. Republican leaders said their troops would reject any increase without a plan to sharply curtail spending and, thus, future borrowing.
