According to reports from Germany‘s Der Spiegel, officials from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) are signaling that they will stop paying bailout money to Greece, because Greece has failed to meet its austerity commitments.

Does the IMF know that IMF, could be the acronym for another word? Actually depending on how PISSED one is, it could be TWO words.

The IMF has since disowned that report in Der Spiegel. But that’s just part of the game too. Wave the big stick and shout BOO! It’s supposed to bring the borrowers into line, although it loses its value unless the stick is actually used at least occasionally.

Got that right good bloke. As stated..’OK, you need and want aid in the form of money, yet you STILL dive for sponges!?’

Uh huh, yep, we’ll dash that check off, right away.. Good game if you can get away with it.

It’s the Third World Aid game, moved closer to home.
Lend money, get promises of payment, scold when payments are not made, accept excuses, lend more money.
Repeat as often as you please.
That’s the basic rules. Normal playing usually includes such questions as “Who said you needed a Learjet?” and “Why is that Swiss bank account so damn fat?” In this instance the challenge is for Greece to find new and original ways of saying “Fuck you, Eurozone.”
